Your tasks:
- Responsibility for tolerance management: monitoring and controlling the tolerances of the individual product groups with regard to the final assembly line
- Calculation, analysis and optimisation: carrying out calculations, tolerance analyses and developing measures to control and optimise production processes.
- Working with teams: Working closely with the Design and Stress, Programme Management, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance departments to ensure all tolerance requirements are met.
- Problem solving: Identifying and resolving issues related to tolerances in assembly to minimise production delays and increase efficiency.
- Documentation and reporting: Preparation of detailed reports and documentation on tolerance issues and solutions.
- Training and education: Conducting training for employees on tolerance requirements and management.
Your profile:
- Education: Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience: Several years of experience in tolerance management and aircraft construction
- Knowledge: Sound knowledge of tolerance analysis, quality management and manufacturing processes.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an understandable way.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills English
